Summer Installation Guidelines

It is perfectly fine to install sod during the summer months. By following our instructions, you will b assured of a beautiful lawn. We adjust our harvesting schedule to allow for warm weather, so you have nothing to worry about.

Above 75 degrees, it is important to lay the sod immediately upon delivery. Dampen the ground before you begin and water the sod lightly as you install it. After installation is completed, soak thoroughly.

For the first week: water sod at the full rate (1/2 inch) in the early morning (set automatic sprinklers to  4:00 a.m.) and 1/4 inch at 10:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. Follow the regular watering schedule thereafter.
